The Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a statement to the public that a person has met the requirements of state law and has been issued a license to practice public accounting by the State Board of Accountancy. Only persons who are licensed can legally call themselves a Certified Public Accountant or Public Accountants. As practitioners, CPAs provide accounting, auditing, tax, financial planning, and business management and finance consulting services. The Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation recognizes the unique qualifications and expertise of those professionals engaged in management accounting. This certification provides distinction in today's economic climate and affords the opportunity to certify a professional's expertise in the business and financial consulting areas that are critical to the decision making process, and to establish an objective measure of an individual's knowledge and competence in the fields of management accounting, finance, business and consulting.

The Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), is a leader in the anti-fraud community, noted as a specialist in the prevention detection and deterrence of fraud. The designation represents the highest standards held by the ACFE and each designee possesses expertise in all aspects of the anti-fraud profession. These standards are set by the ACFE's Board of Regents, who are elected by CFE members and drawn from the most experienced members.
